Preferences

Types of project sought:

1. Full-cycle software development projects, involving design and choice of development tools.
2. Conversion projects, from obsolete technology to current technology.
3. Projects involving latest and best development tools and platforms, databases and the WWW, AI, algorithms, and scientific programming.

Types of project avoided:

1. No original development or maintenance using obsolete technology, such as COBOL, FORTRAN, RPG, or mainframe systems. Will only use old technology in conversions away from it.
2. Those in which the client has already made a choice of design or tools which is inappropriate, or where there is a lack of support for the project from management or staff with whom one would have to work.
